At Costa Property Shop, we appreciate the doubts and apprehensions you may have regarding a proposed relocation to the Costa del Sol. With family pressures and negative publicity, many people suffer sleepless nights – some are even stopped dead in their tracks. But don't despair – we know how you feel. We felt exactly the same way when we decided to relocate. Mandy and I found that by enlisting the help of honest, decent people, and talking to those who had gone before us, were able to achieve our dreams. It wasn't easy, and the road was bumpy, but we made it!

Now we'd like to help others with all the aspects of setting up, running a business and starting new lives on the Coast. We can introduce you to many people and families who have successfully started living the Costa life, and prove to you that with hard work and sound advice, it can be made easier than you imagine. We'll remain independent and professional at all times while providing a relaxed, no pressure, and personalised service. We promise to LISTEN to you. Some of the things we can do (free of charge) for you are:

  • Explain in simple terms how Spanish businesses operate
  • Find a business to suit your requirements and budget, listening patiently to your needs
  • Advise on Spanish leases, rental agreements and freehold purchases
  • Introduce you to (if required), Spanish banks, gestors, solicitors and accountants, all of whom might be able to assist in your purchase
  • Arrange your work permits (including NIE)
  • Register your business for tax and VAT (including NIF/CIF)
  • Arrange social security for you and your family (which includes healthcare)
  • Licence your business (including Food Hygiene Certificate)
  • Provide contact names and numbers for suppliers and trades people
  • Advise on employing staff
  • Marketing, advertising and promotion
  • Currency transfers (up to 15% cheaper than your bank)
  • Renting accommodation or buying a home
  • Advise on schooling for your children, either Spanish or English as you prefer
  • Arrange for your furniture and pets to arrive safely

We can also help with promoting your business and supply a list of recommended and trustworthy trades people, promoters, radio stations, car dealers and importers, shop fitters, bar and restaurant builders and refurbishers, wet suppliers, food importers and retailers, commercial and residential cleaners, and many, many more that can help you on your way.

Training & Support

We have an experienced café bar restaurant owner attached to Costa Property Shop who will act as a consultant to you, if required, and can help you with all aspects of opening or taking over a bar, café or restaurant.
